重庆西南铝精密加工有限责任公司于2010年开始研发电气元件用涂层铝及铝合金材料，2011年批量向市场供货，改写了该产品只能靠进口的历史，填补了国内空白，起草了《电气元件涂层铝及铝合金带材》( GB/T33229- -2016 )国家标准。
